January 2, 2006, SIECO celebrates its 20th anniversary. For twenty years, we have fulfilled our mission to provide top of the line olives, olive oil, balsamic and wine vinegars at the best possible prices with personal service. To remain fresh and appealing, SIECO has continuously participated in trade associations and organizations and added new products and services. We look forward to continuing our tradition of quality and service and are committed to holding the line at consistently moderate prices. Here are the major milestones of our twenty years of operation:

1986 - imported the first container of olives and olive oil into the Port of Houston.

1989 - joined the NASFT (National Association for Fancy Food and Trade)

1990 - won the Chefs in America Award for our extra-virgin olive oil

1991 - Joined the Taste of Texas Program

1991 - built our warehouse and started up our packing plant, packing under our Amber & Sammy's label

1995 - imported balsamic vinegar from Modena, Italy and began packing infused wine vinegars

1995 - began private labeling and began packing for Schlotszky's under their label

1996 - introduced Sammy's Gourmet Multi-Condiment Sauce

1996 - added to our packaging 13 different sizes and shapes of Italian design bottles

1997 - launched a new line of gift packaging including wooden totes, crates and executive gift boxes

2001 -Texas Shoot-Out winner

2001, 2002, 2003 - People's Choice Award at the Houston Hot Sauce Festival

2004 - brought to market certified organic extra virgin olive oil from Cesario DeLecce

2004 - launched our online store, www.olivefarms.com

2005 - began packing unfiltered extra-virgin olive oil, with bits of olives, fresh from the press. |
